About Us
Splendid Acres had humble beginnings. It started in the late 1980's in sunny Florida. Husband and wife, Rick and Brenda Jackson told their children the stories of when they would load up the mower in the trunk of their car, and mow a few lawns in order to provide some extra cash for the family of five, while Rick put himself through college. They eventually called their side hustle, Splendid Acres.
Splendid Acres grew with some additions in vehicles, equipment, and employees. By the early 1990's the company was doing quite well with several contracts and accounts. Then Rick was asked to pastor a church in Virginia. He sold the entire business and all the assets, and moved north not knowing what to expect. It was a small church unable to support the family of six, so it was in Virginia that Rick started our sister construction company All Phase, now All Phase Enterprises LLC.
For many years All Phase Enterprises (APE) was a strait forward small contracting company, doing side jobs, home renovations, and repairs. Then in 2004 APE started purchasing and fixing up real-estate. Much later in 2012, after his third deployment, their eldest son Erick took up the reins of the fossilized company from years ago and re-established Splendid Acres as a sole-proprietorship. Then in May of 2013 it officially became a veteran owned LLC.

Hi, my name is Erick Jackson. Some of my best memories were created with my dad working for Splendid Acres in Florida. during my summers away from school I would help him mow yards & large fields, clean up a flower beds, pull weeds, and chop down trees. After a long day in the sun dad would hook up to our little jon-boat and take me out fishing.
He would row our little paddle boat out into the intercostal waters of Hobe Sound, FL where we would drop anchor, and catch Sheep Head, Red/Yellow Snapper, Flounder, and Drum Fish. We would bring our catch home for mom to cook, and sit down with my sister and little brother Nick and enjoy a meal together. Those were very special days.
Today Splendid Acres continues the legacy of hard work that betters our families and our communities. We believe in relationships over money, and strive to earn honest profits and happy clients.
We have plans in the future, through our partnership with All Phase Enterprises LLC, other local businesses, and individuals to provide commercial leasing for energetic entrepreneurs who want to start their own business, as well as wedding venues for future couples.

We believe that enterprise and ingenuity are essential for job creation and a healthy local economy, but the enterprises and the people that run them must have strong foundations. Great foundations are instrumental to a long lasting building, and this is no less is true of relationships and business.
